Instead of ranting about the exams or the weather, I thought I would start today’s post with something inspirational. I think that we could all use a few tips when it comes to turning our days from “just OK” to amazing!
The rules of being amazing
Risk More Than is Required
Learn More Than is Normal
Be Strong
Show Courage
Breathe • Excel • Love • Lead
Speak Your Truth
Live Your Values
Laugh • Cry • Innovate • Simplify
Adore Mastery
Release Mediocrity
Aim for Genius
Stay Humble
Be Kinder than Expected
Deliver More Than is Needed
Exude Passion
Shatter Your Limits
Transcend Your Fears
Inspire Others by Your Bigness
Dream Big But Start Small
Act Now
Don’t Stop
CHANGE THE WORLD….

Lina from the Lebanese plate shared this poem on instagram a few weeks ago and it has stuck with me ever since.
Print it out, hang it somewhere you can see every day and read it whenever you’re having a bad day. It always manages to make me smile and feel better because the words shift my focus from whatever is frustrating me to what I can actually do and control. That is a great strategy to face your everyday challenges 🙂
Speaking of challenges, as we near the end of the school semester, coming up with ideas for the kids’ lunchboxes becomes harder with each passing day. So instead of complaining, the kids and I did a brainstorming session and came up with a list of new and “interesting” lunchbox options.
Today I’m sharing a video that I made with 3 lunchbox options that will hopefully inspire you or at least make the process of making lunchboxes for your kids or yourself easier and more enjoyable. You can use these ideas for school, for work, for road trips, for picnics or just for a healthy fun meal at home.
I can’t wait to hear what you all think of the video, the lunchbox ideas and the poem. I have one major question that I would like you to answer: is the video enough or would you prefer it if I wrote the details of every lunchbox in this post as well? Giving you a printable form of the different ideas?
Please let me know what you think. You can leave me a comment or shoot me an email 🙂
Finally,If you want more lunchbox ideas and options, check out this round up that I did a few weeks ago
