It was amazing to watch the lunar eclipse on Wednesday night. I just thought I’d share a couple of pictures with you.

It was amazing watching this happen..with the kids running in with reports every 2 minutes. They were stunned when the moon disappeared completely.

I  told them it must have been horrifying to people long ago when this happened and they didn’t have the scientific knowledge to understand it. They had different myths to explain the eclipse..a dragon ate the moon was the kids favorite and though I spent quite sometime explaining the science of it..when the moon vanished my daughter whispered..are you sure a dragon didn’t eat it! (They were watching how to train your dragon earlier and I think fantasy was more magical)
