No, I have not given up on the weekly photography project, I just have not had the time to post the pictures. The past couple of weeks have been kind of crazy and not in a good way and then we get a forecast for snow for 3 days (in a country when it snows once every four or five years such a forecast  can change your schedule to say the least).

We didn’t get snow where I live, but it rained and hailed almost none stop for the whole three days. My kids who had a station to observe the weather by the living room window were disappointed to say the least so we decided to go hunting for snow lol

Other areas of the city had snow fall but after  the rain there was little snow left but the kids were determined to play with the snow and build a snow man no matter what! so we took a drive, armed with a bucket and a carrot and extra hat and scarf to build our snow man

At first there was no snow to be found anywhere and the kids frowns were growing by the minute.Then we started seeing some snow on the sides of the street. The further we ventured the more snow we saw and the louder the cheers and clapping coming from the back seat.

We finally found a little spot for them to play and throw snowballs and have fun. However the weather was really cold (it was expected to be -3 after sunset) so I told them that we have to go home and they insisted on building  a snow man, so after much negotiation we decided to take the snow home and build a mini snow man there.

We went home and built the smallest snowman ever with peppercorn for eyes and a tiny carrot for nose and tooth picks for arms, he is currently taking residence in our freezer were the kids check on him daily.
